Electric Trolley seat.

One of my playing partners got a Seat for his electric trolley for Christmas. One of the other players in out 4 ball today said that in a comp you wouldn't be able to have this in use unless he had medical dispensation. I'd heard this before bur wasn't sure if it wasn't one of those rules myths.

Anyone know if this is true or not?

Pure myth - guessing the same people would say you can’t sit on a bench

If he sat on it and started motoring himself around, that would be anther matter. There might be some minor tearing difficulties though. ?
