Election 2015. Has anyone not made up there mind yet?

a lot complain about their wages, but a lot of from public schools with lots of friends. I'm sure they could have got city jobs on 74k.

Obviosuky some are too dodgy, but that happens in all careers.

I actually belove love in more of the ideas of ukips, but won't be voting for the. As the points I don't believe in outweigh their pros.

Will only vote for someone I trust , respect and believe in their ideas - not vote for the ones i detest the "least"

I don't understand this argument.

To me it's along the lines of "as I can't have my perfect option, I don't care what I have, even if it's the worst option ever for me."

That's like going for a meal, wanting steak, but they don't have it, so you don't care what you eat, even if they serve you something you're allergic to!

I do understand that pov, unfortunately I doubt very much that any party will ever do exactly what anyone wants. They're all trying to get their points across to a broad spectrum of people.

Perosnally i vote, and whilst I get your point about the moaning. You've had a choice. Do you go in and Mark your card no vote, or do you just not bother turning up? Same question do everyone else who doesn't vote. Firmly believe the parties are bad and make you point? Or just rather complain after its done?

When a MP or party arrives that can be trusted and respected and isn't just looking after themselves then they get my vote

If I go for a meal and they don't have what I want then I leave

Think it's quite simple really

I go in and spoil my card and write no vote.

And believe there should be an option that says - no vote

Based on this very loose analogy, that would be then like not eating at all then? ( i think i'm stretching this a bit far).

I can certainly understand the lack of trust and respect (whether I agree or not), but I think I disagree on the not voting at all. Re: "none of the above", what would we do if this won the election?

Not just an England problem. Whilst the referendum may have seen a decent turnout in Scotland but the General Election of 2010 saw a lower than national average turnout north of the border.

You are stretching it very far - I would just go and pick somewhere that served what I wanted

And if people voted none of the above and that was the main winner it may wake them up to realise that they aren't Mp's to look after themselves only - they and their party should be running the country for the benefit of "all" not just themselves .
 
I vote for who has solid policies but I don't trust any of them to deliver. I've been better off with this Gov than I ever have in the past. Raising the tax threshold means more money to live on. Makes sense to me. The first party to say they will lower VAT will get my vote.
 
this is not aimed at anyone in particular, but surely if you decide not to vote, even if you live in a "safe" seat you are simply giving your vote to the Party you don't support.
I honestly believe it should be compulsory, exercising your right to vote is one of the greatest freedoms we endure.

So you think it's great we have the freedom to vote yet want to make it "compulsory" to vote - doesn't that then take away people's freedom ?

The freedom to not vote - or to spoil the paper if forced to - is just as important imo!

As for 'giving your vote to 'the' Party you don't support.... Why should you (be forced to) give your vote to a Party you don't support!

OK, maybe have a "none of the above" box, my point is people will moan and complain about Governments, but you had your chance to have a say and you failed to exercise it, therefore no right to an opinion. Unless Politicians actually see the truth nothing will change.
Also it would root out those that just can't be ar£&ed.

Sorry but just because I don't vote doesn't stop me having the right to an opinion

As I said earlier - I can't complain about who wins but I can't certainly complain about the choices they make

Again it's the right to have a voice in all matters.

Seems strange to praise freedom then add constraints to that freedom
