Playing on Friday my much loved wilson staff Spine decided to snap in half under the grip (no I didn't lose my temper) as I started the down swing it went crack in my hand, was such an odd feeling! Anyhow I need a new driver as to replace the shaft is 80 quid and I only paid a 100 for it. What have you guys got to offer me......

Forgot to say it needs to be a stiff shaft without draw bias, nothing higher than 11.5 loft. Apart from that I'm easy.

HTL,
I have a now redundant MP600 10.5* with stiff shaft. We've "fallen out". It's sulking in my locker at the club
Excellent condition, has H/cover and adjustment tool

Like the sound of that, how much you looking at?

Taking it back wed to see what they say, fingers crossed.

Not given it much thought really.

It has been sparingley used as I prefer to play the percentage shot.

If you want a pic, send me a PM with your Moby No and i'll send one either Mon or Tues when I'm at the course.

Taken my whacking stick back to the store and they are sending it back to Wilson. If they say get stuffed or try and charge me I shall pm you asap.

Better get sorted soon mate - are we still on for Smiffy's gaff on the 21st cos you'll need it there

Should be fine mate, will check again and PM you both.

If the driver has not come back in time (said it could be up to 4 weeks) ill just use the 3 wood. Might give you some unhappy flash backs of the beating I gave you around Ascot with it. That was a happy day for HTL.

It should be OK. I reckon they may as well send a new one.
I've had a couple of new clubs off Callaway, to get one of them I had to drive to Chessington though.

Shouldn't be an issue.....I'd have thought they'd be keen to protect their reputation.

Wow! I've heard a lot on the forum about you being a powerful lad, and hitting the ball a long way. But blimey, that is some transition :D

I don't believe it.....

I hit a drive on our 14th with my "new" Adams Speedline driver and the head flew off. Picked the ball so clean, shaft broke where it enters the head. The head went about 60 yds, bouncing on gravel and narrowly avoiding the pond. I was well P*****d off. it is 15 days old!!! walked in as I couldn't concentrate. And my ball went in the drink.
Phoned up the supplier, whilst still seething in golf club car park.
Chap said "do you want it replacing?" I said that as I hadn't mastered the 250yd drive with just a graphite shaft, it would be a good idea. I said that I would take it back to them t'mora as I wasn't in the mood to discuss it at the moment and didn't want to upset him.

So, after two hours on a launch monitor I now find myself in two minds whether to get a replacement of the same or go for something totally different and go through it all again. I will not be too confident hitting with the same club without having doubt in my mind.

If its a 0.350 tip shaft I still have an Aldila Proto By You VS shaft for sale complete with good condition multi compound grip. If you like the club!!!
