Managed to get to play a round yesterday with 2 of my friends which is a rarity for me due to my job. The sun was pretty much shining all day and was a great feeling not to have to play with my heavy and clumsy water-proofs!! Everything seemed to click for me yesterday most of my tee shots were straight and hitting the fairway and was hitting about 200 yards with my driver. Managed to sink a 30ft putt to score only my 2nd ever par on a par 4 hole (not been playing long and don't get to play to often so that was a great achievement I felt) I noticed a vast improvement in my game and I don't think I'm to far off breaking 100 which is something I've been trying to do for ages!!

Finished off the day with a beer in the local and got home to find the Mrs had cooked my tea. Went to bed last night with a beaming smile on my face thinking about every good shot I'd hit. It made me realise why I wanted to play this game in the first place and hope another day like this isn't to far away!!

Superb!

Not too shabby!

Pars are amazing things for us high handicappers. I was swaggering about the course like Tiger the other day after going par, bogey, par, par, bogey (an amazing run for me!).

Golf is rubbish isn't it?

I scored a gross birdie on a par 5 a few weeks ago, in a round of 117! 5 points on one hole. I was walking on air the rest of the round!
