Right - I've got a little bit of perspective.

I'll take a few days off then start with basics, focus on grip, posture etc and take it from there.

I surely can't have completely lost it can I??!

If you can film your swing and post it on here, I'm sure you'll get some good advice

Just go an see a pro and stop trying to self diagnose. They'll no doubt have you back up and running in a matter of minutes.

Get a professional to have a look at things for you as they know what they are doing - it'll be worth the slight expense instead of trying to figure it out yourself and going around in circles!

For what it is worth, I had a similar problem a year or so ago and what had happened to me was that I had the ball too far forward with all of my clubs - hence the sudden fade/slice. My club pro spotted it almost immediately and small faults like this always come down to getting the fundamentals right of grip, posture etc.
