In what way? I'd heard conditioning was on the up, even if the courses are what they are layout wise.

He made the genius decision to put pot bunkers on a parkland course and presented them in a way that ensured golfers had to hack away at the lip or faces to get their ball out.
I remember telling him they'll just become under cut and collapse in on themselves. He laughed at me!!!! It didn't take 2 months until the first one fell!!!! ?He filled in most of the fairway bunkers on the fairway to reduce maintenance. Tee boxes where so uneaven a mountain goat would struggle and neglected the greens come winter.
I understand that his hands are tied with available funds but he didn't win many friends Durring a AGM. A complaint was made about his passion for pot style bunkers and he said "if you don't like them don't go in them"
