Personally I wouldn't but there again I would never consider blindly firing it on every par four or par five, either on my home course or when I go to other places. I'd rather look at how to play the hole the safest and best way to give me a chance of trying to score as well as i can. Obviously there are days when the drive will misbehave but I'd never consider not using it. I know it's my fault but also know that I can capable of hitting good ones too and simply back myself to do so more often than not
