I was bit taken aback seeing the rapid deterioration in him when he was at the start of Kevin Sinfield's run.

Sadly it is one of those diseases that affects each person's life expectancy with extremely variable amounts. E.g Stephen Hawking lived for 40 years after his diagnosis although there is a bit of disagreement over what he actually had.

Too sad. I was out last night when I heard the news and was so sad. He did appear really frail when he saw Kevin off on his run but still a shock as he'd fought so bravely. RIP.

Meet his folks in a pub before 3rd place play off in 91 at Cardiff. Throughly nice folks who were extremely proud of their lad ,can only imagine how they're feeling now ?

:cry: I avoid all news, so i just found out via here. So sad, what a cruel cruel disease. Knowing the character he is, he will be happy now. Rest up and jump for lineouts wherever you are now.
