Do you worry between games?

I know exactly what the op is on about. Even though it's irrational, pointless and a bit sad really.
i even worry about hitting a bad drive, and want to put it right so badly that I will take driver on the very next hole after I hit a bad one, even if it's the wrong choice of club!
then again, I've always had mental health issues and irrational thoughts!

Nope , clubs in the car boot.. game in the boot with them .. No point

Sometimes ive even felt like giving the game up , worry bout it .. Nah

Hi,

So I have this thing where if I don't play as well as I can I worry about it until I can get back on course. That is usually a week.

Have I forgotten how to play? Will it ever come back? Should I go to the range (this never helps), and so on.

Anyone else get this or can you box it up and not think about it?

I get the opposite too where if I play well I ride that all week and feel godlike.

I am exactly the same as Alex on this one.
Ok, bills, health, family, etc. are all far more important I understand that. That's obvious.
But there's still no harm in worrying/apprehension about your golf. Sport is passionate and if you're passionate about your game then you're going to worry imo.

I can relate to everything he said and do the same.

Do you lie in bed worrying if you can still ride a bike if you haven't ridden one for a while? Well - once you can hit a golf ball OK you'll always be able to - though like riding a bike you may be a bit wobbly at first or unable to ride hands off :)

So even if you have had a rubbish round - no point in worrying about it in bed as you can't do anything about it until you get back on the course or range, so reeeelax. It'll be OK.

Ahh, never feel like giving the game up.. Always thinking of how I can beat it.

I had a stage this year where I was golfed out... Still keen in my mind but could not get my butt of the sofa and actually go an play. Sadly it was during the best of the weather. Still, got the rest of my life to master it. Just before I die I am going to be really good....:D
