I played 9 holes with Teegirl yesterday and joined up with the 2 in front as it was quite busy.
A father and son who were still new to the game, the father was EX RAF (15 years ago) and still talked contantly in Initials. I didn't have a clue what he was on about half the time.
I left the Air Force 11 years ago and I had forgotten all about this habit forces people have.
Or is it just forces personnel ?

Do you play with the ADC to the AOC who works in JHQ and used to be in FSMs but now is VP to the ACM?

Or do you speak in civvy English?

Mostly, but my M8 from the RPO often plays for the BBC and is known to hit 50% GIR with his RACs before returning to HID in his BMW.

I'm military, so I understand most of the "proper" ones. Half the time, even at work, people just seem to make their own ones up though!
