Do you really, honestly, 100% want to get better at golf?

there are people who would KILL to play one game in your shoes...

Thanks, appreciated....... I played like a knob though :D

I see a passion for the game in Fundy and he's a great ball striker. I felt that if I could tell him to go for it he would appreciate the push. I'd love to be able to coach someone like him to take him to the next level. If he could afford it he should certainly get the best help available to him locally, not try to impress anyone other than himself whilst playing...

...and stop knifing chips across the greens!! :whoo:

With regard to my own game, you know... I just enjoy being there having a laugh, I want to play better but it just doesn't happen when I'm trying to relax and banter the boys. Every shot has to be a glory shot and they rarely come off 66 times in a round :)

Yep, even with the knifed chips I would take Stevie`s game over anyone I have every played with. He has a great understanding of the golf swing and although he does take lessons he would most of the time be better off giving the pro a lesson or two.

Hes not the one with the post about motivation though....

LOL... I have it (motivation) but with 2 small kids there's a price to pay for my selfish "I want to be better at golf" attitude.... and that weighs heavy on my shoulders. It's a time management thing and once I get it sorted to a level that I feel justifies my feelings and balances my heart then I can take some forward steps towards my personal goals.
