Disqualified!!

This really is lesson learned. I never even thought of asking at the end as i just presumed it was a DQ offence. I played out the round, filled in and entered the card and got my marker to write 'DQ - 15 clubs in bag'.

A tad embarassing! :o

I know a guy who once hit 3 shots down our 7th fairway enroute to the club house, for his afternoon tee time. Went out and won Captains day, but got DQ'd because someone seen him hitting the 3 shots.

me and my playing partner were playing in an alternate shot competition last year and it was in the york union,i was hitting balls in the net and my mate was chipping on the grass intop the side of the net when an official came over and said you cant do that your practicing on the course, the first tee was 100 yrds or more away and i thought it was petty as the net was only 30 yrds away from the practice greens,is that not practicing on the course aswell? or is that allowed as its a designated practice area? not everybody knows all the rules but i think there should be some signs up for competions to make things a little clearer or even refresh some of the more senior players minds, just a thought!

Lesson learned!!

Ha! Or maybe it wasn't lesson learned. Disqualified for the second week running... this time for not signing in the book before i started! Maybe i should change my username to The Chump instead.

Got DQ for not signing the book and it cost me a £90 voucher that one of my bast mates was happy to take as he got moved from 3rd to 2nd due to my issue.

V P*ssed off at time as I felt how was not putting my name in the book anything to do with how I had played!!!!

Over it now I think lol
