NSPCC and a number of charities are lobbying for change in how victims are cross examined, great piece in today's Guardian. http://m.guardian.co.uk/law/2013/may/19/lawyers-oxford-abuse-ring
If like me you were appalled by what you watched last night, write a short email to your local MP asking what he intends to do about it in the House. Hopefully enough lobbying will see a change in legislation...

This case is not an isolated example and on other threads people have questioned why victims sometimes don't come forward for years....

You can understand why, I can imagine being told you're a liar by 7 barristers time after time will start to break you down!
I wouldn't trust my local MP. Even though I'm a supporter of the party if never vote for him!
