Whats actually wrong with it?

Faulty pump switch I think he said. It hasn't been emptying all the water out after it's finished washing but we've managed to get it going my repeatedly switching it on and off. However, last week it emptied all water out but won't bring any in.

Sounds interesting, I assume you’ve had someone out to look at it?

Well, been out looking today our local Euronics store and Currys. Was surprised that the Beko I saw seemed very sturdy. Plastic base Bosch at more than a Miele:eek:

Tbh, the Beko is a decent budget machine. Reasonably reliable and very repairable. If you were to go this route I'd suggest a Blomberg. These are the 'posh' brand owned by Beko, but when purchased from Euronics they come with a 5 year parts and labour guarantee.
I sell quite a few to landlords and letting agents, they love em!

Oh, will have to check that out with them as the website only says 3 year warranty. No mention of parts and labour or five year.

Just seen 5 years is on the integrated models.

My bad, I fit more integrated than freestanding, just assumed it was the same for both. Still, 3 year warranty isn't bad (it will ofc include parts and labour).

The Blombergs arent a bad dishwasher, we also use some in town. They do a "hybrid" one, that has a cutlery basket and a small cutlery tray. Most of the Blomberg stuff is produced with the German market in mind, as they appreciate quality more than most. They are also competing head to head with Bosch, and doing quite well.
For me though if I had the budget then it would still be Miele, but I understand many don't and so the Blomberg is a good cheaper alternative, and probably better than the cheaper Bosch stuff.

Been to my favourite Euronics shop and have seen Beko, Blomberg and Miele all near each other. I think it's going to be the Miele.
