Discrimination or otherwise!!!

Had my name down for a Comp North of the Border at a good course.

Received a letter back today advising that The Comp is only open to members of Golf Clubs in Scotland only!

What do you think about that?

Different golf union may be the reason.

Still a pretty poor show if you ask me.

I would imagine its something to do with the club being affiliated to the SGU and you are an EGU member. Either that or you are trying to get into a competition at Muirfield and they are just being polite.

Nothing wrong with it as saying you must be 5 handicap or under isn't wrong/discrimination either.

Think it probably saved me £500 as there was 2 night's accommodation, another course and 'The Mrs'was coming which meant shop shop shop.

Now I am going to play Hillside for £45 unles they say I am from the wrong County rather than Country!
