Disastrous high hooks with short irons?

Although it’d be ideal to provide a video of my shots resulting in high hooks, I can’t hit them on command. Normally, I’d just chalk them off as a fluke because this hasn’t been a recurring issue in my 30 years of golf (currently index is ~11), but these high hooks have been happening out of the blue over the past 3 consecutive rounds:

During these rounds, I’ll hit 2 or 3 short iron shots that start on my target line, but then up hooking hard until the ball lands 20+ YARDS to the left of my initial line. This is happening with my 7-iron through PW. What makes this very difficult for me to address is that my misses are typically to the right: pushes/blocks.

Logic suggests my swing is too in-to-out when this happens, but I can’t figure out how/when I’m doing this with my short irons. Any advice is appreciated.

I am no pro but: I have read in the past that the push and the over-draw are actually two outcomes of a single issue: lack of proper body rotation through the shot. If you under rotate this can lead to a push/block if your hands don't correct - and lead to a pull/hook if your hands (subconciously) over correct.
