Disapearing Threads

Have I missed some new rule somewhere where threads are only kept for a certain period of time.

There is currently only 1 thread in the for sale section for instance, dispite me posting one myself less than a week ago. I also had a thread in the ask the experts section which has disappeard aswell (although I can still see both by going through my user control panel to recent topics I've posted on).

I know there have been tech issues lately, is this something to do with that, or is it restrictions on how long topics are kept for. Seems odd if it's intentional.

Have you checked you setting in the Display Thread options ???

go into any of the sections where it lists all the threads , ie , The Lounge , Out of Bounds , Ask the Experts etc, scroll down past all the thread list & there is a banner with DISPLAY THREAD OPTIONS in it ,

there are settings for 1 week . 2weeks etc , change setting & see if that helps

Brilliant. Had never seen or needed to use that before, it was set to threads from the previous day for some reason, although I've never changed it.
