Just got home from the hospital looks as if I wont be playing golf for about 2 months broke my arm in two places so.

Might need surgery and I am not allowed to play might give it a go though :P

Rest up Mono.
Trying to do anything against Doctor's orders could mean it taking longer to heal or not healing well enough.
Take it easy.

i feel your pain... did the same and couldnt play for a while... wierd when u start playing again because your afraid of hurting it agen... my break was my wrist and when u sometimes hit it wrong the vibrations up the club you feel in your hand... that was always on my mind took me a while to get back into the swing of things!

Sorry to hear about that Mono, hope it gets better soon.

You are lucky in one way that you are only 15 yrs old. When I was 15 I broke my right leg in 6 places playing football and I didn't get out of the cast for 6mths. I was lucky that I was 15 and 5'1" (now 6') and i grew and the bones grew with me and knitted together better.

How did you do it?

Sorry to hear that Mono but as Imurg says best to listen to the doctor. No point trying and making it worse and been off for longer or even permanent damage.

Whats 2 months in the next 50+ years of golf :)

I can appreciate the desire to play when you are unable, but the last thing you want to do is swing a club in anger with an arm broken in 2 places. The power from the swing alone will be enough to separate the bones and disrupt the healing, let alone what'll happen if you catch the ground.

Leave it alone until the doc gives the all clear, it'll be better in the long run, and far less painful.

I boke my arm in 2 places 10 years ago - I went against the doctor and got the cast removed (you cant go to Ibiza and party with a cast) I still regret it now, I get pains in my arm al the time - my advice rest up, you will not regret it.

Horrible just as the season is kicking off - why do these things never happen in October

I am getting a little worried about the amount of injuries that I hear about on here is this website cursed.

Sorry to hear that mono - not a good time when the weather is picking up and golfs starting up again. As others have said though, i'd go with the doctor and rest it. At your age it'll probably heal in a montha nd a half anyway.
