Dental implants

Update, early Sunday morning my wife started to feel quite ill with stomach pains, sickness then the runs and blood.
This almost 3 days after her operation and 4 days after starting her amoxicillin 500mg antibiotics course . She still hadn't had any pain or discomfort where her operation was. She also took a couple of paracetamol as prescribed
I called NHS 24 just after lunchtime and got a doctors phone call appointment at 3.30.
The Doctor said hospital was the best option and an ambulance, he said it would probably take about 4 hours. It finally arrived 3.30 am took her to hospital 4 am where she sat in a wheelchair next to the toilet in a corridor being sick into a carboard hat for 2 hours.
She finally got to see a doctor at 4 pm today Monday.
She now on a drip, Morphine, anti sickness meds and anti inflammatory meds.
Awaiting various test results, her Covid test was negative, she's feeling slightly better after the Morphine.
Due to Covid restrictions I'm not allowed to even see her.:cry:

Hi Billy. I haven't been reading this thread & didn't know about your wife. I do hope she's on the road to recovery now. Must be worse not being able to see her.

She's still on morphine, anti sickness meds and a drip waiting on test results, the doctor thinks it's some kind of bug or virus not the antibiotics.
She feels absolutely knackered

She's feeling slightly better today after being on drips and meds for 2 days.
Turns out she has Neutropenia, low white blood cells and unable to fight off infections.
Tests already taken came back clear, but they're carrying out more tests.
Some light at the end of the tunnel, she started ordering me about by text .
ORDERING YOU ABOUT BY TEXT??...Suggest you leave notes around the place saying 'sorry, battery flat and can't find charger'

Update, that's her back home still feeling a bit weak but straight into the shower. She'll be doing a complete house inspection shortly, then I'll be getting my instructions.
She will be going back to hospital as soon as they arrange some probing tests  she's not a happy Easter bunny.

That's positive news for sure. Hopefully on the road to recovery now.

I'm just home from the dentist repairing a couple of fillings on front teeth - nose and top lip very numb!
