David leadbetter on the wii

Sorry if this has been asked before tried searching but found nothing.

Has any one tried this?

Someone reviewed it for the magazine about six months ago. I'm sure they said it was so so. I think the biggest problems are the incorrect swingweight and the fact you cant grip a wii mote properly. I think the graphics were a bit ropey as well. Hopefully, they'll be one to give you a full low down.

Thanks for that your comments make a lot of sense....it seems expensive if it isn't realistic without a real club

I reckon you're better off spending £100 on lessons with a pro off grass. At my club you'd get seven lessons and a few mars bars for that.

I wasn't seriously considering it. I downloaded the gasp software last night and will be off the range next week...had a lesson with a pro about 3 weeks ago so I'll just redraw some of those pretty lines across my self

The Tiger Woods games can help keep your swing moving through the wet and dark winter months but I'd have to agree that Wii does not match a proper club-in-hand swing.
