I've not seen the Faherty coverage refered to. But in reference to the European team. Yes we probably had a great side, but on the day we were not on top form for all rounds.
Faldo's pairings choices certainly wouldn't have been mine at the time, but he's suposed to be the Pro & I'm not. That said, he's probably a better commentator than a leader. One great decision was Poulter as a pick. Its a pity DC couldn't make it too, but maybe just as well... I mean would you like to be on the loosing side.
Now getting back to Faherty, no he's not a kiss ass, he's a great commentator, a fantastic interviewer & quite a character. Maybe his only problem is he's spent too long over in the states, which may explain a lot.
