Darren Clarke splits with Caddie!

Darren Clarke has parted company with caddie John Mulrooney, the man with whom he won The Open Championship at Sandwich last July.

He wasnt long with Clarkie though, not like Tiger and Steve double act. DC has a few weeks of practice now before his next event so I suppose now was as good a time as any to look for someone else. I noticed no harsh words about the caddy on twitter etc though so was probably amicable.

I think Clarke would be a hard bag to make money off. Apart from his fantatstic and deserved Open win DC is a player who seems to go through the motions. Some weeks he's good some weeks he's brilliant, some weeks he's dire, some rounds he's a mixture of all!!!!

Probably Clarkie as he does have a bit of a temper when things arent going well, Id call that frustration though.

Its not really a big deal. Caddies come and go and sometimes a player jsut wants a fresh pair of eyes working with him.
