Dangerous game this golf !!

Was playing in County Seniors match V Northamptonshire yesterday and guy from our team was putting on his waterproofs when his brolley took off, in an attempt to catch it he set off but as he hands were still dragging on his leggings he went asp over tip and landed heavily on his shoulder.

In very bad pain and walked in, got a taxi to A&E and upshot is he's broken it a couple of places. They did nothing last night as it deemed best to go to his local main hospital as he will probably need an operation on it. Not heard yet how he got on today but suspect he's out for quite a while.

Harrington had to have 6 stitches and missing this weeks tourney having been hit by an amateur he was coaching

Aye his PP's gave him some stick until they realised how bad it was. We also took the mick out him on his return from A&E for not changing for the meal and making us wait till he'd had his main course before we tuck in pud

just hit one shot walk thirty yards slip on a railway sleeper path edging and spend 17 months off work .dangerous you bet your backside it is.

My aunt managed to break three of her vertebrae earlier this year when playing a chip shot and catching it heavy. Seriously. Everyone was like "what the hell, how hard did you hit it?", but they found out in the hospital that she is suffering from severe osteoporosis, making her bones very brittle. But still ... a chip shot ...

Heard from him today and he's having a new shoulder fitted tomorrow with 2-6 months to back playing !!
