Was stalking a Scotty Newport 2 on eBay, got piped at the last minute. Was used but in a good condition, ended up selling for £69.77! I frantically put in a bid of £70 at the end, but it bumped me! Seems like a real bargain! Great feedback from other buyers, he had a few other golf bits up for sale, surprised it went so cheap!!
Any other eBay bargains had recently?

Seriously it'll be ebay sniper at that sort of price, rather annoying when you can't bid quick enough!

What is a sniper? I wonder how people get in a final winning bid with a second to go. Have they set it up automatically? It never bothers me (too much!) as I have bid my maximum and that's it but often wonder how it happens. Handy when you're selling and watch it suddenly shoot up in the last minute though.

I lost a driver with 2 seconds to go.

As I cant try these drivers I've ended up buying 2 with different shafts and lofts, then resell the one I dont keep

An automated program that bids at the very last second you put your maximum bid and item number in and the computer places the at the very last second, saves the item being bid up and gives others no chance to outbid you unless of course there maximum is more than yours. A growing trend and really frustrating when your watching and bidding yourself!
