Is it simple or high in risk of breaking?

Got a old light 3 & 5 wood, which I'm looking to cut down for my 4 year old to play with!

I'm wondering if it's worth it??

Thanks.

Easy peasy.
Junior hacksaw, or any saw with really fine teeth will cut it easily.
Wrap a bit of masking tape round the area you want to cut and go gently to prevent splintering.
Stick a grip on it and the job's a good 'un. :fore:

Right, done. Easy.

Now, any hints or tips with removing the old grip from excess and are-fitting it to new shorter club?

Search youtube, LOADS of great vids on both subjects, shafts and grips.

This forum is a good place to ask what NOT to do, what pitfalls to avoid etc but I would always watch 2-3 youtube vids to give you a visual example also. it REALLY helps!

The grip may be to big as you have cut down the shaft so the grip diameter may be to big.Anyhow a long thin blunt object and some white spirit usually works, but I'd buy some junior grips and put them on.
