Evening all....
Well after my performance the weekend of 42 points off 17.6 iv been cut to 15.8 :cool:
I was beaten on a countback but im gracious in defeat......It happens......Im happy with the way my game is going...
Just a question......Here in Ireland our handicap is kept and adjusted by Golfnet.ie...
How is it that Howdidido has the outcome of the competition and my adjusted handicap so quick and how does it calculate the cut......
I think im right in saying that for every point above CSS your cut 0.3......Would this mean that CSS was 36 on the day or am i talking out through my ass.... :D
 
Your golf handicap will be maintained by your club using whatever software they choose to pay for. I'm not familiar with golfnet.ie but after a quick glance it looks like a central database of handicaps (or CDH) similar to the EGU's CDH. All the software vendors now have to provide an interface to the CDH which makes handicaps available to all clubs via the internet regardless of the software used at any club. However, the handicaps are still administered from the home club using the software they use. Howdidido is simply a website run by Club Systems who are one of the vendors.
