CSS changes after 3 days

Played at Sherwood Forest in a Seniors Open on Monday and results published that evening showing CSS at 72 1 over SSS so with 34 points made buffer. Then today get email that handicap has changed as CSS has now changed to 71 for the Open.
Any ideas what would have caused this?

Did they find some cards that hadn’t been entered?

Don't know , we had to drop them into a box outside the Manager's office and about 15 mins later scores you could see your score in clubhouse on the TV , they use intelligent golf

Have you ever heard of this happening before ? In the grand scheme not that important , played against my mate last night and had to give him 13 shots but won 2&1
