Critique my swing

I know what you mean, if I conciously try to slow down it all goes wrong, if I use a decent tempo then I can just feel the difference. The vid just looked a little wobbly on the finish so thought maybe you was swinging a tad hard/fast

Played today, Belleisle in Ayrshire for the first time.

Tried to steepen my swing and just feel my hands going a bit higher, nothing drastic just a bit less around and bit more up. Results were great, hit almost every green in reg and shot a nice gross 70 that could have been better but for a couple of short game stuff ups.

A hook is not common but more likely to start right and stay right or go further right.

That does surprise me, considering where your shoulders point compared to your feet.

Oops meant to say its not uncommon. I suffer snap hooks when my tempo gets a bit quick and my rhythm goes off.

That makes more sense.
Get someone to stand behind you and align your shoulders with your feet. Then you can hit the ball and square up the clubface at impact without it going left.
