CR-PAR effect on Divisional splits

Our division 1 used to be up to 14 PH, and Division 2 was 15 and over PH.
After the introduction of CR-PAR, we have moved the cutoff to 15/16. Anyone else performed anything similar?
I should add that CR-PAR moved everyone up 2.3 strokes.

Use HI. Makes life much easier.

Maybe for some, but I would say not for most. People prefer integers, especially ones that dont move week in week out.

Same happened in one of our local senior ‘tours’ (14 clubs involved)

At one club we all lose 4 shots ( due to CR 65 Par 69) so division 1 was suddenly inundated with all those who would have been division two last year!

HI makes much more sense but I think DotGolf uses PH

If HI changes then CH & PH will change at least as frequently and depend on the format, tees and course and use of rounding

Does DotGolf actually manage competitions? I thought it only dealt with WHS calculations and HI administration.

The Scottish Golf app (DotGolf) does handle individual competitions but not pairs or teams(eg scrambles).

It’s not as sophisticated as the old Scottish (VMS) app

Our Divisions get moved on a comp by comp basis to even out the numbers in each division.
