Courses West of Albufeira

Hi all
finally decided on albufeira as base for next years trip, want to veer away from vilamoura area and play some courses west of albufiera within say 30-45 mins travelling
not much on here about this area, anyone played any of the following, Silves, Vale da Pinta, Penina, Morgado or can recommend anywhere else in this area.

my father in law used to have a villa on the Pestana golf complex near to Cairvoiro. Two courses of note there are the Vale da Pinta and the Gramacho course. Both quite nice, Pinta probably better. Not cheap, but no where really is in that area.

Go into the town of Cairvoiro though, its a lovely little place, some great bars and restaurants, including a kareoke bar owned by a crazy german guy.

 

[West coast par]

Some great courses West of Albufeira . Pinta as previously mentioned a good track also Silves a very nice lay out. Palmares is possibly one of the best in Portugal . You also have the the Faldo and the O'Connor which are both excellent tracks. Cairvoiro is certainly a good shout for a group of guys plenty bars and eateries for all tastes. Enjoy your visit
