Courses in/ near Liverpool

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a decent course in the Liverpool area for a group booking of 20-25 golfers of varying abilities. Ideally looking at something around the £30 mark. Any suggestions welcome.

I recommend Woolton and Childwall. Woolton is shorter but challenging and tight; Childwall is longer and more open. You'll get a better price than £30 at either just ask for their best price.

Mossock Hall is a good track flat but well laid out for an varied round.

Played a few with my university golf society, Childwall was the standout IMO

Another vote for Childwall. Our society been there a few times, always been good and the course is a really nice track, easy walking too as it's quite flat.

On a more serious note Childwall get's another vote from me.

Frodsham is a nice course, very well maintained, lovely greens.

Hurlston Hall is also nice, not too hilly. Nice bars, good staff.

Eccleston Park is a nice course, not too hilly, bar is a bit small, but they have a room upstairs you may get use of if there is such a large group. No snobbery at all, great staff

Huyton and Prescot has fantastic greens, and fairways. Nice clubhouse, reasonable prices. Great staff.

I vistied all tehse, all with societies and was impresed with tehh service and facilites at each of them.
