Course number 11 for St Andrews.

Work is about to start on an 11th course for St Andrews.......not part of the Links Trust this course is going to be a members club with limited access for Joe Bloggs.

Scottish Entrepreneur Ewan McKay is the man with the vision for this Tom Weiskopf designed course that'll be named 'St Andrews International Golf Club'.

The course will have 19 holes (1 extra for tied matches.....not sure what happens if it goes to the 20th.....build another hole??:mmm,range,putting green,boutique clubhouse complete with spa and 41 luxurious suites for members and guests.

Price??????

£100k and annual fees of £5k!!!

Founder member Euan Cameron said that he was privileged to be among the founder members of the club and that "He would be extending an invite to all the Scottish lads on Golf Monthly to join him for a whack once it's up and running''.

Even if I had the cash, still wouldn't join and play that over the other St Andrew's courses!

what they should do is build 20 holes with the extra 2 being for extra holes......and have them by each other so you play the 19th and then the 20th and if it's still tied the 19th tee is right there without having to walk a long way.


that price is just ridiculous,like above i'd rather play the other st andrews courses.

For that price I wouldn't expect to walk anywhere, I would want those travelator things from just off the green to the next tee box.
