I love watching these daft golf challenges, like the gong shot and the clay pigeon shoot. Here's a new one from Mercedes

Doing that in an F1 car would have been more impressive :D

I am not blonde, but what I meant by 'bit of a gimmick' is that it may superficially look impressive to the mathematically challenged readers of The Sun, but it really isn't very impressive if you break it down.

If the ball flight time is 5 seconds, the car only has to do 112.5mph to cover the same distance in the same time, and the car is already motoring when the golfer hits the ball.
