Consistently Inconsistent

My last couple of rounds show why I'm still a double digit handicapper

last Saturday I shot +10 with x2 trebles & x1 Double

I played the same course this morning and shot +11 with x4 doubles

anyone know how to keep these irritating scores off the card...they just seem to jump up on me out of nowhere and I make a double from a promising position...it's doing my head in!

In combination with lots of short game practice and a few long game lessons.

I play some very good golf by my scores are ruined by an overactive right hand and sometimes going off swing plane.

I can nail a 4 iron from 190 yards to 10 feet but the next hole I hook another mid iron OB then I follow that with another superb shot where I put a 5 iron from 180 out of rough to 8 feet.

I can make a good round into an average round at the drop of a hat. Inconsistency has blighted my season and despite feeling the swing is much better I cannot stop making silly errors. It will come. I have faith but sometimes hard to keep it when you chunk a chip or miss a green from 80 yards

Lol I shot the same nett today as I had gross last week!

2 quad bogeys. Now that is consistently inconsistent.
