Oh FFS!!!! It's bad enough that I knob it around off 28 but I've now got to persuade the missus that we should sell our blue petrol motor and buy a silver diesel one instead. 30% of my club are single digit h/caps, minimum. We do a winter knock out, drawn high/low, and you normally get 12 h/caps drawn together, where 11.7 is the low, and 12.1 is the high.

Your stat of 0.5% must be wrong. Unless it includes people who play once a year and call themselves golfers.
