Confused about shoes

the lunars are very good, i only paid 45 for mine from the pro shop, but great quality, last few pairs have been nikes, impressed with the quality of them.

I think you have to go a long way to beat a pair of Adidas. My first pair was a pair of £25 adidas shoes, and a year and half later they are still ok (one stud missing). I've bought a new pair and wore them for the first time on Thursday. Spent a little more this time, I think around £80/90 and they are gorgeous! Lovely to look at, soft, oh so soft and soo comfortable. No problems from my round on Thursday.

There are so many good shoes around the £30-£100 mark I just dont see the point of spending more.

Just goes to show the point I made earlier.... I have read countless posts on this forum with people moaning that adidas shoes rub, heels erode, fall apart, aren't waterproof, yet you are happy as larry with yours.

My old Tour 360 Ltd's were the best shoe I ever had.
I wish I would have done what a few people on here do and have a few pairs to alternate between, as that way I would still be using them.

I have a bit of an FJ fetish but not all of mine are Icons and I have a wide range of makes and models from £60 and up. I do look after my shoes (well the wife does) and I've pairs that are 7-8 years old and look like they are much newer than their age because I regularly clean, polish and dub them.

I like the Icons because they are sturdy and yet comfy. Not as lightweight as others but if you were in the market for one pair as an investment that will last (subject to being looked after) then those or the dryjoys would be my preferences. I'm thinking about giving the XPS-1 a run out tomorrow so I'll post my feedback
