I have noticed that many obese people in coffee shops tend to have one of those coffees that have whipped cream and marsh mellows on top and a bottle of full fat coca-cola. Seems a strange mix but together must hold a gut busting number of calories!

It's an observation, I notice these things, it also tends to be accompanied by a large slice of cake by the way.

If you've never tried diet coke but have a bottle of coke handy, get the toothpaste out, give your teeth a good old clean then swig away on the coke....hey presto authentic diet coke flavour. Blarfgh.

I've never seen that. Ever. Are you sure you aren't making it up?

Coke used to taste different when it came in the old solid cans with the flat bottom. Probably the metal leeching into the drink and giving it more bite.

Surely Coca-Cola can only be drunk at Christmas when those polar bears deliver it. I rarely drink any fizzy drinks unless at a fast food joint where they are horrible concoctions from a dispenser. If I'm honest I can't really recall what it tasted like as a kid.
