I will start by saying ' Greetings all ' as I am new to the site. Formalities out of the way.....a question.
Played the game off/on since my teens. After a two year lay off have got back into it the past two months and as my irons are about 15 trs old, thought I would treat myself. Recently visited a golf retailer with a driving range and tried a number of irons and found the Cobra S3 max suited me. I also tried the Cobra S3 and S2 but prefered the Max. Now I have got into my head that the numbers on the club heads were different ( red...green....possibly black ) I know Ping do the ' coloured dot ' system for different lofts. I have visited the Cobra website but can find no mention of any colour system. I rang the shop back and the guy babbled on but clearly was unsure himself. I did try a number of clubs and may just be confused about the coloured numbers. Can anyone assist ????
