I haven't carried my 5 wood for 5 months now, it just so happens it's 10 yards too far for 3 lay-ups and 2 long par 3s....the rescue is bang on.....I'd (seriously) keep both....
Not about the cash Dave, I would rather just get shot if my mind is made up than have it sat in the understairs cupboard tempting me and playing with my mind.
I know his 23* brother may get homesick but he will survive.
I have always kept my "un-needed" clubs and have never regretted it. I have a 2 iron that never comes out to play....until I go to Little Aston (when I need it on 2 par 3s). I know I'm not going to persuade you, but you might go and visit a course one day that needs driver, 3 iron on lots of holes.....What happens if you decide the gap is too big between 5 wood and 4 iron? for me that's about 25 yards.
I have kept my gap "A" wedge for the last 10 years.....funny how I need it now....you can never tell.
