Just logged on to our club website and am pleased that it has been improved. Good to see the course status prominently displayed on the home page. Also the course details are greatly improved with more detail on each hole.

Pleased to hear it. I think that if you are paying well north of 500 notes (and for our soft southern cousins a lot more) to be a member of a club then the least they can do is let you know if it is open or not on their website

Looks ok, the banner pics are a pain to load on first visit but for regular site visitors I guess its not an issue

Typo's on the Pro's page though... "Please do hesitate to contact Simon or a Member of his staff" & his pic is poor quality which along with some poor formatting/sizes etc gives me the impression that it wasn't all done by a professional web design company (despite the link) & may be templated on certain pages for the club to update

Best thing on the site is the course guide

Just noticed that there's no directions/map for visitors :-(

(general point & not specific to this site but why would a web design firm continue to associate their name to sites when they may not be controlling the content on an ongoing basis? Can make for a very poor advert)

I dont know what it was like before so it's hard to compare.
But as a visitor looking for a course to join there's still many things I would look for that aren't there. :(

I hope that's not the finished article - as there are a few glitches and some style issues in it:

Bottom Options Bar doesn't match and only the 'Home' option works as expected.
The italicised/bold 'Contacts Page' should be an actual link.

Why do Ladies pay less than '5 day members' - which should be capitalised?

The Course section is really good though - should be a link to it in the Visitors section though.

Par 3 to start and finish. Not keen on either of those personally.
Hope there are plenty of identification for where next tees are as there are some long walks to some.
And what the heck goes on with 4 and 16? That must be a bit of a bottle-neck at times!

And I think there are 1 or 2 Mine Shafts on Cornish courses too. Carlyon Bay has one, I believe, and St Austell may too - or it my have just been a subsidence into one.
