I will soon be purchasing myself a drover after my birthday on a few weeks.

Do clubs drop in price anytime soon as the summer season comes to a close or will they remain at the same price?

There may be a price drop on a superceded model - for example if a new TM driver was coming out in October then the current one may drop now to clear stock. Major club launches tend happen in Spring and Autumn so expect the price drops on older models then

A Drover? Do you have a lot of sheep then :D

You will find sales but most of the stuff from the Big Manufacturers drops in price when the new models come out and aren't usually on sale.

Try looking for older equipment, I'd imagine the Ping G15 has dropped a bit now the G20 is out and you can still pick up the TM R9 in some places for a good price.

You just have to search around.

TM .... a new one in October, November, December and a special, just before Christmas edition!

I know Taylor Made and Callaway are a nightmare for releasing new models on a very regular basis.

When will the Octane and R11 be superseeded I am also in the market for some new sticks.

American Golf has recently started offering 10% off on new clubs from Mizuno and Cleveland

Why does the Sceptic in me think you work for AG :D

No chance mate I am a boring Accountant that is looking for new clubs and worried I am going to buy and notice the next week my clubs are outdated but worst of all a lot cheaper.

Fair enough.

Golf equipment will always be outdated but so what. Get fit properly and it doesn't matter.

What are you after..What price range?

I'm not really sure yet tbh. Probably callaway mizuno or Taylor made around the 150 mark.

Lol, drover. Silly iPhone auto correct!

R9 driver is in your price range now. If you can stretch to £170 you could get the R9 Supertri.

There are plenty of other good brands and models in your price range too.

Reckon you will be able to pick up a JPX 800 for £150 soon. That is a top club.

Callaway's FT range tends to hold its price quite well and I suspect that the Razr will stay quite expensive but the Diablo range seems to drop quickly.
