I have just been searching to find the exact rules on what you can and can't do to clubs as far as painting, cleaning, smoothing out dents etc. is concerned. I didn't have any luck, does anyone know where to look. Or just discuss...

you cant change the playing characteristics during a round, so guess you can do all the stuff you need
