Bent my 9 iron round a tree today , shaft is now like a banana . Can it be bent back into shape /or is it best to just try and find another one?

A friend of mine just had a new shaft on his Cobra driver when it split. Cost only around £50.00 which was a far cry from getting a new driver, especially when he was so happy with it.
