I think the lessons will be the key rather than the new bats. That said if your current set are more than five years olf there have been huge changes in shafts fitted as standard and the amount of forgiveness in most makes and models (perhaps not blades!)

Irons are only a couple of years old, but from a package set and not very forgiving.

So far I have hit Burner Plus, VR Full cavity and Cally X22 & BB08 and each one had a better flight, good shots were longer and bad shots not as bad as what I currently have.

For a variety of reasons I have hardly practiced this year and not had too many rounds, next year is going to be my year...

Is it because these guys are soo good they know it's not the clubs that will make them better anymore, it's more a case of refining thier technique?

Or would they play even better wih modern clubs? I reckon so.
