Ive seen these for £70 each brand new. They were first released in 2016 I think, and I guess they are still just fine, I just wondered what others thought. Is it worth looking at something more recent or is there really no real difference?

If they're brand new they can't possibly be bad. Wedge 'technology' hasn't moved on that much has it?

I'm guessing not no, at least not for a 12 handicapper 😐 Alternative were Wilson staff wedges, one with a high toe. £30 more, but being a Yorkshireman I'm looking at club prices going "Ow much?!"

RTX-3 was a great wedge. I had one in 50° for about five years, only just replaced it a month ago. As I said, if you're getting them in brand new condition they'll be as good as any wedge really.
