After buying my new irons, I needed something to fill the gap between my PW and 52 deg Vokey. Now I chose the new 588 as they were still doing a minimum trade in of £25 for old wedges. Now this new wedge feels amazing. Lovely looking head, nice comfortable shaft and the standard Tour Velvet grip. In play, the head, although more of a better players wedge, is forgiving, with a perfect sound when the ball is caught flush. Good classic looking wedge, and although I opted for the black, the satin one looks equally gorgeous. All in all, cost £55 after trading in a very old mizuno, amazing value for a top wedge.

Is it the regular 588 or the CB one?

BTW-how are the irons shaping up now? Still looking at them online after seeing your initial posts about them.

The standard one, I went in for the CB one, but just loved the look of the standard one.
The irons are coming on great, shot 84 with them in my first round out and had a 1.5 cut on my h/cap!! The shafts are thicker and heavier than my soft regs I had before and these feel soooo much nicer. Try them, buy them! No regrets at all!!

I have the tour grind 54o & 58o and find them to be great additions to my bag, £25 trade in was a bonus as I always prefered Cleveland wedges to Titliest.
