i usually use baby wipes to clean the face and back, tooth picks to get into the grooves, thinking of buying a can of compressed air to get the bits of grass ect that settle in the cavity

Brush and hot soapy water, but don't let too much water get into the ferrule, to avoid rusting.

Warm water with a squirt of washing up liquid,a nail brush, and a sponge/scourer.
Keep the clubs head up,so no water gets in the shafts.Good scrub with the nailbrush, then a wipe with the sponge, the scourer will be usefull if you have any "raw" wedges,as it helps remove any rust build up.Give everything a rinse with clean water, and towel dry till you can see your face in the chrome. :D
