Cinnamon Golf Club in Jamaica.....has anyone played it?

Evening all,

For our honeymoon we're be off to Jamaica in June. And next to it is this little beauty http://rosehall.com/golf/cinnamon-hill/

Has anyone played it?

I'll be getting a few rounds in and I can't wait, it looks brilliant and the reviews I've read so far are really good.

Not played it myself, but I know people who have and say its lovely.

I can highly recommend The White Witch though. Tough test but one of the coolest golf courses I've ever played. You're treated like royalty from start to finish too.

I've had a look at White Witch as it was rated as Jamaica's number one course but after reading some of the reviews on the net, those that had played both courses had said that Cinnamon was the better out of the two. Maybe I'll just have to play both ;-)

I had my reservations about the caddies because I wanted to play the course in peace and quiet but as you mentioned, they are meant to be very good and I'm not looking forward to hearing 'Great shot Ma'an'.

Don't do it mate...it's your honeymoon! She will never forgive you, at least start it off in the right way...then come home and make her a golf widow

She's the one that originally suggested it mate. I think I could sneak in 3 rounds and she'll probably tag along anyway as there's plenty of nice views etc on the course. (She's a good girl like that).

No...seriously...she would feel special if you ditched it. You may once return to Jamaica and the course. But you'll only have one honeymoon (with her). I was 2 secs away from hornsea gc on mine and I'd never of entertained the idea of playing, it's not worth the lifetime of it being dragged up
