Since once reaching 9.2 - three years ago, my game had been on the slide, with .1 after .1 pushing me back up to 10.8 earlier this year.
Then, outa da blue, some form appears, and a couple of small .2 reductions sees me back to 9.8 for our annual 36 Hole Comp last Saturday, an event that saw me questioning the wisdom of entering on a very warm August Saturday !!

Again, out of the blue, a great round ensues and I post a 75, (Nett 65), round our CSS69 course, for a drop of 0.8 in 1 go ! Yehh........back to Singles.
Afternoon round was a dose of reality again, with a Nett 75, after I finally ran out of steam, and gave .1 back again, but hey, back to 9.1 so I IZ CHUFFED Not bad for a 50yr old.

Funny ol game............

Now if only I could Drive the ball............

Thx Fella's. was a satisfying day all round, still chuffed, and would love to push down a smidge more to make sure I stay there before season ends.
