So, you've done the presents, you've survived the 5 course dinner, you've watched the Queen's speech on mute and finally it's 7 pm and time to put the feet up for Christmas night tele. What are you going to watch ?

Poor folk tele has the choice of
BBC1...Strictly, Call the midwife, Eastenders
BBC2...Top Gear (Rpt) Dad's army (RPT), Blackadder (RPT)
ITV..... Emmerdale, Corrie, News, Downton Abbey
Ch4.... Lord of the Rings
Ch5.....Eddie Stobart's lorries

A veritable feast of the best in Christmas televisual entertainment

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!

No Snowman, Two Ronnies Christmas Special, Guns of Naverone, Magnificent Seven 'OR' Noels Christmas 'Deal or No Deal' Extravaganza.

What a let down.

Seems like One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing so must have made The Great Escape.

Was looking forward to watching both of these (again ) - not.

Anything that involves dancing, skating, eating an anus or voting and giving money to multi millionaire Simon Cowell can, can, well lets just say it's very rude and involves a few F's.

I've got 6 DVDs to watch over the festive season. John Bishop, Sarah Millican, Dara O'Brien,Frankie Boyle,Michael McIntyre and Kevin Bridges. The TV hasn't much to offer on the big day.

None of those! Perhaps Tin Tin on Sky if we don't watch it earlier but have been saving War Horse for Christmas on Sky+

Likely to be Tin Tin on Sky for me as I loved it at the cinema followed by the new Batman dark knight rises on DVD.

Sod all that terrestrial guff on the big day
